Amahitunes not working right

All,
I just got my server up and running again, and when amahitunes loaded there was the sample song in there. In my shared folders on my mac i saw the sample song. So i added one of my own, it never showed up in amahitunes, but it is in the shared folder. I tried changing the permissions on the parentfolder, but it says not parentfolder found, any ideas on this? But now the sample song doesn't even show up in amahitunes now, not sure what happened. Any help would be great.
