Would VLC work with Amahi?
I use it for streaming to my Dreambox.

How about SqueezeCenter?
For streaming to my Squeezebox.

niiice. i use vlc a lot, but not for streaming.

i assume it requires X to be running?

if not, then great, if it does, then run it from within VNC or just install it.

you may need to install it from, say, rpmfusion by installing the rpmfusion packages first then yum install vlc

How about SqueezeCenter?

i am pretty sure you can install it without much complication.
if you can, please share a little guide on the wiki of how to do it!
