I'm having some problems with the Amahi DLNA and I hope you can help me.
Problem no. 1: No subtitles. The video plays fine but I can't see the subtitles. Embedding the srt files in the mkv's is not an option as it beats the whole media server concept. Any solution to this? Alternate DLNA server?
Problem no. 2: Pictures are very low quality. In fact they are so bad you can barely recognize faces. Can this be configured somehow?
Problem no. 3: I use a popcorn hour A110 to play media. The Amahi DLNA server is visible but I don't get the fancy web interface. I understand that this is most probably a popcorn issue but could you have any insights?
Thanx

Re: Amahi DLNA server problems
problem 1: make sure the .srt files have the same name as the .avi you're trying to view. This should do the trick (it works fine for me).
problem 2: pictures look fine on my TV, AFAIK this can be configured in /etc/minidlna.conf
problem 3: dunno
