How to decide what movie to watch?

My HDA has been humming along for about a year now I have a movie archive. Every day my server sends me an email telling me all the unwatched movies in my library. If I go to my DLNA or SMB shares, I see a lot of movies, but I have no metadata (like synopses, cover art, IMDB, rotten tomatoes, metacritic scores) to help me decide what to watch.

Has anyone created a good web-based frontend to help me browse my library?

I think its possible to browse your movie library with ampache.

But why dont u install XBMC on your client and mediatomb on your server? It has everythink you need:
