CLOSED: Is Amahi 11 still getting security updates?
This might be a bit of a stupid question, but I've just been wondering if Amahi 11 is still getting security updates? Given Fedora 27 support has long since stopped, I'm a bit wary of keeping my hda online. Are there any security concerns I can manually do something about, or is the Amahi app kept up-to-date with latest security findings?
Re: Is Amahi 11 still getting security updates?
Amahi is an add on to Fedora so has no affect on security of your data. That’s all based on the operating system.
Fedora 27, although retired, should be ok. If you don’t expose your HDA to the internet, you have nothing to worry about.
Most users don’t use their HDA outside their local network without openvpn App. As long as that’s how you access your HDA remotely or using amahi-anywhere App, you should be fine.

OpenVPN set up with the OpenVPN app is in fact the way I access my data on the go. Thanks for the reply!
