commands in terminal ssh

Postby N0ormradio » Sat Nov 14, 2020 2:35 pm

I used gparted to partition new drives in my server. I have no idea how to move the shares over to my new drives. According to my server |shares I only have 6 bytes of space. I do not know any of the commands to work with my server in ssh. So the question is what are the command instructions to solve my dilemma. Being an old codger and knowing zero about Linux. I need some education in the command line to make things happen. It seems that most of you have much more knowledge so please help I am drowning

Try searching the internet for help. There are several tutorials that will guide you along.

Also, once you change the path of the shares, you have to update it in the shares tab as well.

You might want to consider paid support to help you with your troubles.

It's best that users understand the basics of Linux for such advanced tasks.
