can no longer access server dashboard with chrome browser

Postby strebor71 » Mon Nov 02, 2020 8:23 am

Hi, So, I have my server up and running for weeks now, dhcp and dns working fine. can access via ssh and can access dashboard with safari on mac but only using the ip address. if i try http://hda i get a blank page with a "4001" in upper left corner, both chrome and safari. if i try to access via ip address on chrome i get connection to this site is not secure connection refused try checking proxy and firewall. I was using my win10 machine to setup the server however the cpu died so in the meantime i am using my mac(s) to connect. I was able to connect via chrome on my windows computer without any problems. I use the same profile on all my machines for chrome so nothing different there i wouldnt think. I would say it is a chrome issue but Why can't i access via http://hda with safari? something must not be setup correctly. I have been through the network troubleshooter my results from

sudo systemctl status httpd

Try clearing your browser cache.

Also, seems there must be a setting possibly in the browser causing the issue.

I can access my dashboard via Safari on my iPad with no issue. Also works fine with Chrome.

I presume your client is getting DHCP and DNS from the HDA. Might want to double check.

Something is wrong on your client machine.
