bought new modem, now can't access hda

I was using a Comcast modem and I switched it out. When I go to my control panel, I see that my hda is stopped. It also shows my IP address incorrectly. whatsmyip shows 174.XX.XXX.210, but my ip address in my control panel is 174.XX.XXX.220. Please help, I'm not sure what I need to do, but I have 3 years of baby pics to save.

Did your IP address change, i.e.; 192.168.1.x to 192.168.2.x or something similar?

If so, this is why things are not working.

The change IP Address guidance in the wiki may help.
