working with applications

Hi All
Had a few problems installing with data pen, found it a lot simpler installing using cd, install without any problems, I am logged onto the HDA on my laptop, so all is good so far.
I would like to add apps, I have install a few and when I click on the installed app, it says...
This site can’t be reached
drupal.home.com’s server IP address could not be found.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
This happens with all the apps i have installed, I know I have probably done something stupid
, could someone shed some light on this for me.

running the latest Amahi 11 and fedora 27, all installed on minimal setting....
