Postby paullayton » Wed Dec 12, 2018 1:28 pm

Hi All

New to the amahi Server

I have managed to install it and have it set up

I want to add another drive so I looked on the apps page and saw disk manager

I would like to install this to the server yet I cant seem to find any download of addition button

I can see the app is free although I have credit in the store

any help would be good at this moment in time

Apps have to be installed from the HDA (Available Apps tab), not the web site. Those that have convenience fees are purchased via the web site app store, then they become available on the HDA.

Also, disk-wizard is currently broken, so it's not available. You will have to follow the manual guidance.

Manual installation of apps is totally on the user.

We cannot provide guidance. The novnc App is in the app store, but was never completed.

Maybe there is a volunteer who would like to help with it in the community.

BTW, adding a desktop to the Amahi HDA has been known to break the server. If that happens, only a complete reinstall from scratch will be needed.

Remember, a server is meant to be headless and not have any desktop capability.
