I have been working to set up my Amahi server and was cleaning up partitions from my dual boot. I was attempting to remove the remaining NTFS partitions from my windows home server and free up the space for amahi. I deleted a partition that was /dev/sdc2 and after reboot the server to find that the web app would not work. I SSH into the server to find that the /dev/mapper/fedora-root was at 100%. I worked through creating a new partition and added it to the root drive to increase the available space. However, the web app will not let me log in and I have also noticed that I cannot do anything with greyhole.

Re: HDA not working after root drive full/Greyhole not working
Try manually moving some of the files from root to the new drive.
That will free up space and should help get things going again.

Re: HDA not working after root drive full/Greyhole not working
I moved files around and found that the server was not allowing access to the two hard drives. I had to remount them. Rebooted and I had access to the hard drives though I still cannot use the web interface.

Re: HDA not working after root drive full/Greyhole not working
Have you moved files off of root to the new hard drives?
You may need to move quite a few or you could change the Greyhole LZ.

Re: HDA not working after root drive full/Greyhole not working
I have been trying to move and delete as many files as I can find. I have cleared out all log files in /var/log and some cache files.
The main issue I am seeing is that the /var directory which links to my additional hard drives has 677G of used space. While using the du command if I subtract the 677G thats 2G used on the / directory left. Though when you check the df command it says that there is 15G used. I cannot find anything else to delete and I am not confident on what else could be moved of significant size. Somehow there is 13G of data sitting there that I can't see.

Re: HDA not working after root drive full/Greyhole not working
Check in the /tmp directory. That often holds files.
Also have you rebooted since moving files? If not might consider doing that as well.
I am guessing the files taking all the space are in /var/hda/files directory. Could poke around.
