Lost access to dashboard after root became full

Howdy folks
As the topic states i lost access to the HDA dashboard and apps after my root became full. I managed to remove some files from a share now i have 30% free space at the root.
Using the interactive network troubleshoot all fails at step 4.
I should have this
Server: 192.168.1.10
Address: 192.168.1.10#53
Name: hda.WoodcockHome.com
Address: 192.168.1.10
but i actually have this
Server: 208.67.222.222
Address: 208.67.222.222#53
** server can't find hda: NXDOMAIN
So i look at the resolv.conf file using the DNSMASQ troubleshooter on wiki.
My resolv.conf file looks like this
# Generated by NetworkManager
search WoodcockHome.com
nameserver 208.67.222.222
nameserver 208.67.220.220
I change both ip address to my HDA ip address 192.168.1.10 then running nslookup hda again i get this result
Server: 192.168.1.10
Address: 192.168.1.10#53
** server can't find hda: NXDOMAIN
Still can't access HDA dashboard, reboot the system at this point causes the resolv.conf file to revert back to
Server: 208.67.222.222
Address: 208.67.222.222#53
** server can't find hda: NXDOMAIN
Continuing with the DNSMASQ trouble shooter my amahi-dns.conf file looks like this
server=208.67.222.222
server=208.67.220.220
my amahi-dhcp.conf looks like this
# WARNING: Automatically generated by hda-ctl on 2018-04-10 20:09:10
# Use /etc/hdactl.conf for defaults and add any customizations at the very end of /etc/dnsmasq.conf
# DHCP configuration
dhcp-authoritative
dhcp-range=192.168.1.100,192.168.1.254,255.255.255.0,14400
dhcp-option=option:netmask,255.255.255.0
dhcp-option=option:time-offset,3600
dhcp-option=option:router,192.168.1.1
dhcp-option=option:dns-server,192.168.1.10,192.168.1.10
there is nothing in the amahi-common.conf file, is there meant to be?
I've update OS, hda is set to be DCHP and DNS, so im a little stumped.
Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers
