Adding network drives

Postby zombiehype » Sun Jan 07, 2018 6:29 am

I just installed amahi on an old laptop with the purpose of using it as a media server with plex. Being a laptop, it only has one hdd that I use for the system, and all my media files are stored in network drives over a dlink nas (very cheap and underperforming, hence I need the laptop to do the transcoding).

Before deciding if amahi is the solution for me, I was trying to find documentation on how to add network drives so amahi can see and manage them, but found nothing. Is it something that can be done?

You will have to follow Linux guidance for mounting network drives.

Then once mounted, you can access them as local drives.
