Hi -

First of all just to say I'm pretty much a newbie to both Linux and Amahi. However I've been on a steep learning curve for the past few days and now know a lot more than I did! It is time, however, to ask for help because I have hit a brick wall...

I installed Fedora 27 then added Amahi by:
rpm -Uvh http://f25.amahi.org/noarch/hda-release ... noarch.rpm
dnf -y install hda-ctl
hda-install YOUR-INSTALL-CODE

I had some networking issues which I've fixed but did a couple of fresh installs in the process -including re-installing F27. I can see hda on my network and the control panel shows the green light.

The issue I have not been able to resolve is that I can't see the dashboard or setup - either browsing http://hda or the IP address. I get 'connection refused' messages. The problem is very much like this one: https://bugs.amahi.org/issues/2046#note-9. I've read every forum and tried updating, restarting httpd and everything else suggested.

Systemctl status httpd shows that Apache is failing to start but I can't see any indication as to why. I'm afraid I don't know how to get a screen grab of the output from that command but you can check out my general system info at https://paste.fedoraproject.org/paste/x ... frlmrUf~tA

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Julie

I installed Fedora 27
Fedora 27 is not currently supported. We are in the early development stages for Amahi 11.

Please follow the guidance for the currently supported version, Fedora 25 at http://docs.amahi.org.

My bad! Really should have learned to read instructions carefully by now! I've re-installed and have the server up and running. Just a few more hurdles to get over (like how to move any files onto it from my mac!) but there is some light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks!

J.
