Further to a my previous query in relation to Subsonic. I have now installed the made to meaaure app on my Amahi server.

Installed without problem and i now have to do some fine tuning. Subsonic requires port forwarding for certain functionaliy.

Problem is I'm not sure how to port forward through Amahi .

Any advice, guidance or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Port forwarding is done through your router, not Amahi.

What are you specifically trying to do?

Thanks for your prompt response. Essentially I must forward port 4040 to the computer running the Subsonic server. In this case Amahi. This to allow for incoming connections to Subsonic,ie from a Subsonic music app on a mobile phone network, etc.

I have had success connecting to Subsonic from mobile devices (ie cell phone) connected to my home network (WiFi) but cannot connect using cell network only. I have not yet tried connecting from WiFi outside of home network.

Will external connections like described require VPN to Amahi? Thanks again for your patience.

Hosting a web site guidance might help.

You can use the openvpn App as well and not need to port forward.
