Amahi and Backuppc

Postby bilful52 » Sat Oct 28, 2017 2:57 pm

Hi, Does anyone know if Backuppc will in fact work with Amahi. I've installed it but when I sign-in I get the following message "The page you were looking for doesn't exist." I've installed it on a VM without Amahi and it works fine.

Thanks.

It should but will take some customization to make it work.

Not sure if you will find any help on the internet with it though.

I have done research to see if the BackupPC tool will work for me. On an old laptop, I installed fedora and backuppc; the web interface works well to configure. On my amahi server, I receive the same message at the top of this topic. Has any progress been made to allow backuppc to run well on the Amahi based server(s)?

There’s been no interest in the community to work this app.

It’s an easy app to setup, so customizing for Amahi is doable.

I’ve used it and stopped as didn’t really se the benefit. I use a Windows app to backup all PCs in my network.
