Good morning,
Up and running with Amahi. So far so good. New to home servers, etc and have a question concerning IP addresses and Amahi. When I created my account I provided an IP address for the HDA IP Address. So far so good. Installed Amahi on my server and Control Panel shows the network active and running.
That said, I noted an alert that states: New IP Address: 99.245.17.238 This IP Address is also in the Header Banner at top of Control Panel page.
My question: What is this IP address and what is its purpose? Is it related to the one I provided for the HDA IP Address? Any information you can provide is appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Question IP Addresses
If this is on amahi.org, it's the IP address from your internet service provider for your network. Nothing you really need to worry about, but #Amahi needs it for the dynamic DNS and such.I noted an alert that states: New IP Address: 99.245.17.238 This IP Address is also in the Header Banner at top of Control Panel page.
