Hello,
I installed Fedora 25 and Amahi 10 per the instructions on the Amahi.org website. Everything seems to have installed correctly. The issue is when I try to access the dashboard with http://hda or the server's IP address all I get is a white screen with the message " Index of /" in the upper left hand corner.
Thank you in advance for your help.
SOLVED: Dashboard not showing up correctly
Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
Did you follow instructions at http://docs.amahi.org? If so did you use the Netinstall CD?
Can you login to the server via command line? If so please provide he URL for:

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
I reinstalled Fedora and Amahi and they were working fine until I added hard drives to the system. I used disk wizard to mount the drives and initially everything seemed ok but after the server was rebooted it would only boot to emergency mode. I reinstalled everything again and the same thing happened.
Thank you,
Ken

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
Get #Amahi working first before adding hard drives.
Then add one drive and ensure it's properly mounted before rebooting.
I personally would rather follow the manual guidance for adding hard drives.

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
Ok, I'll reinstall again and add disks afterwards using the manual method. One question I have is about the partitions that fedora makes on the disks. The instructions state that amahi doesn't use the /home partition but even though I'm selecting the standard partition scheme the drive is partitioned with most of the storage in a /home partition. Should I delete this partition and reallocate to the root partition?
Thank you for the help and sorry for all the super basic questions. This is my first venture in to open source OS and software.

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
Follow the install instructions precisely.
If you do, there will not be a /home partition created.
The screen shots and steps listed must be followed in that order.
Failure to follow them exactly as written will cause issues.

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
I'm following the instructions step by step but the /home partition is still created. I double checked that I'm selecting " I will configure partitioning" , deleting old partitions, and selecting the standard partition scheme. I tried this several times with the same result.
I tried deleting the /home partition and allocated that storage to the / partition and Fedora and Amahi installed correctly. Amahi is running and I see the shares on my network. I will now try adding extra disks using the manual method as you suggested earlier.
Once all the drives are added, does Amahi use the space for storage automatically or do i have to use Greyhole to extend my shares to the new drives?
Thank you,
Ken

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
I would be interested to know the steps you took that resulted in the /home partition being created.
I have tested this several times and it was never created for my installs.
As for the drives, yes you need to set them up to be used. Nothing is automatic.
Please let us know if this thread can be closed.

Re: Dashboard not showing up correctly
I followed the install instructions exactly so I don't know why the /home partition was created.
thanks for all your help. I'll carry on with adding drives and installing Greyhole next.
