Postby addictive0188 » Sun Jan 22, 2017 11:42 am

Hi there,

İ'm new at linux and amahi, i setup fedora 23 and amahi 9.

I cannot reach dahsboard on neither amahi.net nor hda. Only on PC's IP address

On Control Panel, everything is OK. I tried interactive troubleshooter have no problem, i disabled my routers DHCP servers, but nothing changed :(

I tried to mine Dynamic DNS too, but no luck... It says "This site can not be reached" so, what can i do?

Did you renew the Client IP address?

You might want to check out the Network Troubleshooting wiki page. There are some things there that might help.

Hi there, sorry for late reply, but i could deal with it yet...

* So i tried renew IP on win 7 but didn't work,
* I shut down all devices which is using internet connection, and disabled wifi on router, only pc and amahi server is on and both connected the router with cable.
* I disabled DHCP Server on my router and reboot router, amahi server and pc simultaniously
* I tried my chance on "interactive troubleshooter" again, but seems everything is OK
* I followed steps on https://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Vista_Networking_Issue but nothing changed.

So im still cannot reach to my dashboard and of course to apps on amahi.net.

I'm sharing some ss on my dashboard so, i hope you can find a solution :(

Can you access the dashboard via IP address?

The last screenshot with the MariaDB server stopped is documented in bug 1802.

Have you rebooted a few times?

Updated the OS?

Code: Select all

sudo dnf update

Indication is the DNS server is not working correctly.

I presume you are using the HDA for your DHCP and DNS server. Also there is only one router in your network. If either of these is incorrect, that is likely the issue.

Try switching DNS service providers in the Network tab, Settings section. Also ensure the DNS Server box is selected.

Report back if that helps.

I'm using amahi's DNS and DHCP server, but actually i have 2 router. First ISP's router, which has the worst wifi connectivity. So i have second router for wifi connections which is using DD-WRT firmware.

My home networking like this: 1st port of ISP's Router >> Amahi || 2nd port of ISP's Router >>DD-WRT Wireless Router

On my router's basic settings page;

* IP and MAC adressed are hidden by me. Should i change DNS adresses on ISP's router? I hope not because i cannot find any option to change it...

On DD-WRT Wireless Router, DHCP Forwarded to Amahi;

And router is;

* But "Local DNS" is empty, i dont know is that effect or not?

Actually, as i mentioned in my post which is 29 Jan, i tried to shut down wireless router and connect with cable connection on ISP's router too, but i couldn't achieve...

Not sure if that will help.

Amahi is designed to only support a single router.

Sorry we cannot be of much assistance.
