I hope this is not a poor question, but I cannot find where in the Amahi dash interface for a non-admin user can they change their own password. Is it possible for an Amahi user that is not the administrator to change their own password from within the Amahi dash?

See
Dashboard in the Amahi wiki. You will find a lot of helpful guidance and tutorials there.
Expand the user and you should see the password icon.

But that is only for a user that is admin.

True.
You have 2 choices:
A. Make them Admin for the time to change their password
B. Change the password for them
Recommend you
submit a feature request if you think they should have access to change their own password without admin rights.

Did you use your amahi.org credentials as noted in the wiki link I provided?
If so and still no luck, email support.
