CLOSED: Is it ok to delete the default shares?

After installation, on a whim, I deleted the Books share. I did't think I would be using it. But now I wonder, was that a mistake? Are the default shares used for anything special?

No that is fine. Just know that the share may be gone from the Dashboard, but the directory may still live on the drive. You would have to manually remove it via command line.
