Recommendations for a PCIe USB card

Hi all

I just started using amahi and love it. For extra space I added a USB2 external drive doc but have found that it really slowed down my transfer speeds. I do have a PCIe slot available and could upgrade to a USB 3 card but I am new to Linux and really don't want to spend a whole day trying to get drivers installed for a PCIe card or worse... screwing up my amahi server and having to reload.

Can anyone recommend a compatible USB 3 PCIe card? Maybe one that might just work out of the box?

This is the one I am looking at now...

Sorry if the topic has been covered before. I did a few searches and did not see anything on PCIe USB cards.
Thanks in advance!

That looks like a good card. It may require drivers be installed. May not be too difficult though to complete.

One note, it does not reflect it's Linux compatible. That could be a problem. Often Linux compatibility is not advertised, but still works. Recommend you check into that before making the purchase.

Have you considered eSATA? They are pretty fast as well.

This might be a better option:
Tenext PCI Express 4-Port SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Controller Adapter Card with SATA Power

Note it's Linux compatible.
