HI there!
Am new to linux and amahi.
Just installed amahi for two days ago.
DHCP disabled in amahi, using my router dhcp and amahi dns.
installed following apps and then the fileserver( samba) stopped working:
Plex, Owncloud, uttorent, amahi everywhere...

think got the error after pled or uttorent.

Tried to restart the fileserver, restart amahi, nothing working.

before i followed the wiki of both plex and uttorent cuz they where not functioning properlly, uttorent didn't work even after following the instructions on the wiki.

Uninstalled all apps but still fileserver( samba) not working.

pls help.

Have you found a fix for this? I am running into same issue. I just installed Amahi and copied files just fine. Then I installed a DLNA & Amahi Anywhere and now I can't access shares and fileserver (samba) has stopped and will not restart.

On another post(can't find the link now) I read that someone had the same thing happen to them once they installed VNC which is what I did. I am rebuilding but this time WILL NOT install VNC.

Please let us know how it goes. Would be interested to see the log files to determine the root cause.
