SOLVED: Ipad Issues

Postby dchill » Thu May 15, 2014 4:37 am

As a Amahi newbie, i have created a new HDA (Amahi 7), I can use my wireless laptop to connect via "htt://hda/" on my local network, I can select my Apps and all works great.

When on the same network I try "htt://hda/" on my iPad it load but when I select a App it take me into the Troubleshooting page. Quite frankly I tried to work my way through that but the instructions make no sense after about stage 4/5 as the commands stated are not recognised in the Putty it suggest to download.

Pushing that to one side I fail to understand how it can work on my home laptop but not on my home iPad, can anyone help?

Try using the app fully qualified domain name, such as adminer.amahi.net or whatever your domain is for your HDA. This sounds like a potential DNS issue, so ensure your iPad has the HDA for DHCP and DNS servers.

If you don't know how to do that, recommend you check the internet for help.
