Path question

Postby jeffhood » Wed Feb 26, 2014 11:19 am

I have my HDA up and running, and can access it from my Mac and PC computers. I also have NAS with many files but can't figure out how to describe the path where the NAS files are located. I copied the way it appears on my Mac (smb://mynas/Multimedia/Movies) and several ways it shows up on the pc. But from the HDA dashboard no files show up. What am I doing wrong?

How have you listed the path in the HDA share? It is typically /path/to/files.
smb://mynas/Multimedia/Movies
You can try the path after smb: and see if it works, but guessing it won't.

You may need to check the internet for how to mount network attached storage in Fedora 19. Maybe for how to mount it using samba as well. Search the forums and the wiki as well.

I have not see much on this one myself. Once a solution is found, would appreciate if it would get added to the wiki shares page.
