Reset IP question

Postby jeffhood » Wed Feb 26, 2014 11:10 am

I need to change my network configuration which will change from a 172.xxx to a 192.xxx range. I read the wiki where it describes how to change the IP address but it refers to the third-place of the IP address being changed. Will the method in the wiki work for me or do I need to reset everything and get a new account?

I believe you are going to have to reinstall from scratch. You can try using hda-change-gw but I don't think it will work for your scenario. I don't know if that script an be modified to do what you need, but might be worth a shot if you are Linux savvy.

If a reinstall is needed, you will need to create a new HDA profile. Your account will support 2 HDA profiles, so a new account is not needed. We typically only allow users to have one account.
