Xbox 360 Backup

I was just wondering if there was any way to backup my Xbox 360 files to my Amahi Server?
I tried going to storage on my 360 but my server was not recognized.
I couldn't find a wiki or how-to link anywhere. I just want to backup some important files and game saves because you never know!
