Hello,
We realize that apps don't move as fast as we like, however we are doing the best we can. Our team is small and all volunteer, so you can imagine the workload we juggle every day.
Many apps are contributed by Amahi users, so when they don't make it LIVE it's typically due to those folks stopping package development. We do try to work as many as we can, but unfortunately it takes time.
You mentioned installing Ubuntu. I want to caution you that only Fedora 19 is supported now. While we still will offer maintenance support for Ubuntu and Fedora 14, there will be no new features or apps released for those versions.
The apps you mentioned have not been updated or worked in quite some time. They most likely will require a lot of attention and testing to become eligble for release LIVE. If you are an experienced user and possess the skills to help with the apps you mentioned, please let us know. We can grant you acess to work on them. Keep in mind that assistance from the Amahi core team will be extremely limited if any at all.
If you are interested in helping, please PM me.
