Amahi Dashboard HDA Links (Files, Images etc.)

The Amahi HDA dashboard has links called Files, Images, Videos etc. Mine are blank and I was wondering if these should contain anything and if so, how?

I have more or less the same problem.
My HDA home page shows the four links
Bestanden | Afbeeldingen | Geluid | Video
When I click on the Video link I get the message: “No documents found”

However I did place a video file in the correct directory see text below:

On the HDA Ubuntu machine I see these file permissions which also look OK to me (keep in mind I am a newbe).

In the HDA desktop the configuration is correct in my opinion.
Selecting Setup - Shares - Movies
The first three boxes are checked.
At location it says: /var/hda/files/Movies

Anybody any idea why I don’t see this movie in the dashboard?
N.B I could not upload any pictures due to server errors.

There is no access to files via the dashboard. You have to use a client app, like Windows Explorer or a web file manager.

The links you see in the dashboard simply point out the path you use to access the files using one of the above mentioned methods.

Ok Bigfoot65, thanks for the answer.
I misinterpreted the dashboard links.
So windows explorer for windows based operating systems. And for Linux based operating systems maybe Dolphin or Konquerer?

No problem. You are correct, any of those should work or you can install a web based file manager. We have a few in the Amahi store.
