Installation - Network Problem

The Install of Amahi (ExpressCD) requires me to configure a network connection.
My Server is running over a router and then too a PowerLan Adapter.
I can't get the eth0 connection to work and it's my first server setup.
Any help is greatly appreciated, as this is my first try at linux and amahi.

If you are installing on a hard wired machine, then it should work. Might want to try the installation troubleshooter.

Also not sure if you are aware, but Fedora 14 is in maintenance mode. No new features and limited apps will be added to it in the future. Ubuntu 12.04.02 is the current stable version for Amahi.

It is hardwired, if you mean that i have an ethernet cable plugged in to it.
The exact message i get is: An error occured trying to bring up the eth0 network interface.
If Ubuntu's where it's at now then i'll be installing that.
Thanks! (but maybe i'll be back with the same issue)

Yes that is what I meant by hard wired. Fedora sometimes does not play well with network cards, especially since Fedora 14 is end-of-life.
I hope you have success with Ubuntu.
