I finally got my Machine up and running with Amahi. I have all my files over to it including my movies and music. I have DLNA installed to be able to stream my video files over my network to my PS3 and WDTV. Now I am wondering if there is a way to be able to stream those video files over the internet to a android phone or a windows PC. From what i have seen it seems as though this is possible but I am not seeing anything explaining how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dunno if it's possible to stream outside the network. Within your network, a DLNA client will display all the media.

Recommend you try looking on the internet for minidlna streaming.

For streaming media to your devices outside your network... look into Subsonic

Second big thumbs up for Subsonic : works perfectly on my Android phone, especially with the most recent update to a third party app - search for DSub on Google Play - it's a paid-for app (about £1.30 and the best money you will ever spend).

It is miles ahead of the official Subsonic app as the guy rolls out regular releases, listens to people requesting specific features, and there are no ads. He has also fixed one of the most annoying bugs present on the official version, specifically stuttering playback on the first track.

I do a half hour journey to and fro on the bus and listen to any CD in my collection I care to. Amahi and Subsonic are a perfect match.
