Hello. I am as new as new can get when it comes to ubuntu and amahi. I just assembled my new server and installed 4 500 gig sata drives and 1 terabyte drive. When I installed ubuntu it put the drives at / , /sata1 ,/sata2 , /sata3 , /sata4. I put sata 1-4 in the drive pool and started copying data over.

Once my first usb drive was empty I formated it and followed the guide to mount it at /var/hda/drives/drive1.

My question is this something that needs corrected. If so how do I correct it? Do I need to reinstall ubuntu and amahi?

It is best when you install Ubuntu that the drives are disconnected. The only drive you want to be recognized in the OS drive. Then once Ubuntu and Amahi is installed, connect the other drives.

Follow the wiki article for adding them to Amahi.

Should be fine. How the drive is mounted will not affect the data. If you are using Greyhole, best to check out that wiki guidance as well.
