error "not responding"

Postby marcel » Sun Jun 21, 2009 9:01 am

I have a problem. I've installed Amahi Fedora 10 today again to experiment with Amahi . The problem is when Amahi Fedora 10 boots up I get a error message "not responding". This message appears right after the bios boots up and the system reboots again. Some times the system reboots 20 times before Fedora boots oke. I think it has something to do with grub. This problem does not exists by the Amahi Fedora 9 install (same system). I've installed other distributions on the same system no problems. It's a Fedora 10 problem but has someone any idea what the problem is and a solution. Is this a bug in Fedora 10?

Marcel, I think it's best to ask this question in the Fedora forums or on the Fedora channel on IRC. This is a specific issue for Fedora, not Amahi.

update:

My Fedora 10 system is now working well. The problem was a beta version of the bios. I've updated the bios and everything is working fine! Thanks Cpg for your help.
