Yesterday I installed Amahi and everything went fine, I could access the web interface by using http://hda and could made some shares and do other things, suddenly however Im unable to access the web interface, when I type http://hda in the address bar of the browser I get an Internal Server Error 500. I can access my shares on a windows machine and also I can use openVpn, only the web interface is dead, has anybody an idea what I could do to fix this problem, thanks in advance!!!

I have corrected the problem, dis an reinstall and changed my root password of mySql back to hda, found out that if the password is changed you can't do a reinstall, then I remembered that I changed that password to sync it with my password for my website. Think it might be a good idea to point newbies like me on that fact that you can't change the password for mySql, did cost me about 4 hours to find this out.
I'm again very happy with Amahi, did use Window Home Server before Amahi and after some loss of data and a lot of trouble I hope to have found a good platform for my home server, thanks to everybody who made this possible!!!!

you are correct. in the next refactoring we will be addressing that, so that the application still has administrative rights (to create other DBs for apps), and still allow anyone to change the root password in mysql.
