home.com

Postby woutvc » Sat Oct 20, 2012 7:18 am

I have installed the ubuntu server and the amahi server.
But the apps are not working.
Here's my problem:
- DHCP is off at the router: Then I cannot reach hda I get the error
You were looking for "hda" but that domain is not on this server
- DHCP is on at the router: Then hda is reachable but the Apps like calendar are not working and redirecting to the home.com domain.

How can I resolve this issue

Release/renew the DHCP lease on your client or reboot it.

When I do a reboot, I get the error:

You were looking for "hda" but that domain is not on this server

So it seems that hda DNS is not resolved.
I have a Dlink DIR 655 router.

Recommend you try the network troubleshooter.

This is solved.
The DNS in the TCP/IP adapter was still pointing to the Google DNS servers.
Once this was removed, it worked as a charm.
