I'm currently way...way...way.. far from my Amahi system.
I can't get to my router to forward ports.
Need to see if there's a way to get a browser installed on my Amahi server to surf the web and view my router like if I was on my home network..
Anyone got an idea. I'm on a private system, so I also can't install VPN here
Web browser on Amahi?
Re: Web browser on Amahi?
Not sure I follow what you are trying to do. If you installed Fedora or Ubuntu Desktop with Amahi, there is a web browser already on the HDA.
The only way to access it is via remote using VNC or Remote Desktop. Either case will require that you have your server IP forwarded via the router to username.yourhda.com.

Re: Web browser on Amahi?
I used the easy install disk, not sure on that name...
But it was for a headless HP mediasmart server.
I'm trying remote desktop right now.
I already have my router forwarded to the HDA, but I'm just having issues getting subsonic to show up outside the home LAN. From outside my network it's going to "subsonic:4040"
I thought I had forwarded that port, but that's why I'm trying to get to the router to make sure.
Also, for some reason when I uninstalled subsonic and reinstalled it showed I had a folder called music under the music share folder. It seems like it duplicated the 4 music files and the "music" folder itself 31 times

You mean the Fedora 14 Express CD?
