Apps take me to Home.com

I'm totally new to Amahi and trying to set up a media server
but everytime I install an App on the Dashboard and use it
I get a new firefox tab opening to "Welcome to Home.com"
with the address bar saying http://ajaxterm.piggie.home.com/
as I was trying to access Ajaxterm

I suspect it's to do with my router setup but unsure how to
start fixing the problems any pointers would be gratefully
appreciated

Sounds like you did not turn off DHCP/DNS on your router. Ensure the HDA is the only device providing this service. You can also use the troubleshooter to further help pinpoint issues.

Just one further question

My home network has one cable wireless modem router feeding 1. to hda 2. second wireless router 3. to 4-port switch as I have six computers plus a ps-3 attached to the second wireless router and the switch

Question do I need to switch off both DHCP and DNS on both my routers.

Yes that would be smart. If there are multiple devices functioning as DHCP/DNS servers, your clients will get confused or there could be clashes.

What type of modem/router do you use?

Both routers are Netgear

wireless cable modem router is Super Hub VMDG480

wireless router is WGR614v9

4-port switch is also Netgear
