Not a complete truth. I am able to get to webcalendar without any issue, but the rest of the apps I wanted to run take me back to the user setup page.

Like I said, WebCalendar works by typing webcalendar into any browser page, but the rest take me to the user setup page, whether typing the alias in directly or clicking on the link on the dashboard.

Any thoughts?

Recommend you check the logs. Look in /var/log to see if there is any evidence of problems. Also suggest you run the network troubleshooter.

It sounds like a potential DNS problem. Are you using Amahi for DHCP/DNS? Have you turned it off on your router? Please provide additional detail about your setup to help us help you.

The troubleshooter says I failed, not able to load dashboard, but that's incorrect
I can load the dashboard, I am able to surf to http://hda
I can also surf to http://webcalendar and http://calendar
But no other apps will load.
I bounced into the IRC chat, and was asked to check out some stuff, so I read up and checked out other stuff.
httpd is not running, it fails to bind, it doesn't have an address or something. Does this matter?

I checked the whole directory path where it thinks the apps are, and they exist. I uninstalled a theme from the apps, as well as other apps that didn't work. I reinstalled just Clear Budget, and it still redirects.
if I type in http://budget (which is where it is supposed to be) I get redirected to http://hda/hda_app_budget which just leads me to setting up user accounts
And I am using the Amahi DNS/DHCP - Amahi is after a pfSense crap machine firewall, running by itself on Fedora14, no other dhcp or dns servers setup

Please check /var/log/amahi-app-installer.log file for errors. It could be an app did not install correctly and is causing this issue.

Also please indicate which apps are still not working. If you want to provide the log file, please attach it as a file. We prefer you do not include so much text in a post as it makes it harder to read.

Also, is this a DVD or Express CD install of Fedora 14? You also mentioned a firewall. Recommend you temporarily disable it and see if that helps. Some apps like Webmin run on a non-standard port (10000) so the firewall could be stopping it.

We hope we can help you sort this out. Best starting point is to make your network simple. Run only the HDA, a client, modem, and router. Remove all other aspects to help narrow down the problem.
