installing new apps
installing new apps
the list of apps I see in my HDA is much smaller than those listed on the main website. I thought that I needed to install the rpm fusion pack which I did but I still dont see any extra apps. One example is transmission. I know nothing about Linux so if this involves code or terminal etc I'm a strictly copy and paste person. Thanks in advance
Re: installing new apps
Yes, there are some apps that are in beta that you would not have access to install. There are also some apps which have a convenience fee. To get those, you have to log into the web site and pay the fee required. You can find the fee by locating the app on the web site.
Once you pay the fee, the app will appear in your list of available apps in the HDA Dashboard. I believe Transmission is one of those apps.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please let us know.

Re: installing new apps
Thank you. It makes sense now. If I may ask just one more question please? What does the rpm fusion pack do then?
Thanks again

No problem. Check out the apps on the web site for a description. You can also look here.
