So.. for the past several days I have been 'working' through the fedora/amahi install process. I am starting out with an old P4 2.8GHz box that died a few years ago. Replaced the motherboard and added a PCI ethernet card. 1 GB ram.. After getting through a bunch of issues, i finally can access hda from any computer on the network.. Issue is that i can not log in... I have used every userid and pwd I can think of.. As I recall though I was only prompted for a root password during setup... how can I add a new hda user through my bash session ?

No you should not add users via terminal. They will not get propagated in Amahi. Only add users via the Dashboard to keep things synchronized.

What type of install is this, Full DVD or Express CD? Express CD login is admin/admin, otherwise you would have created a user during the Fedora 14 install.

When you create users, it's best to stay away from user names with upper case, special characters or spaces. Passwords should avoid spaces as well, but should include upper case and special characters.

If this is not the issue, then you need to provide additional information about your setup to include logs.
