This is a full DVD. I tried rebooting but still no success.
Is wired connection needed? (Anyhow, I am trying with wired connection.)
Here's a link that I hope might help troubleshooting:

What I feel somewhat weird is "nslookup hda" returns 10.0.2.10, not my hda address 192.168.1.10. Hope this might provide some clue.
Also, I created my profile in my Windows XP while installed Amahi in the virtual machine. Does this mess things up?
I am in a rented apartment with mediacom being the service provider. Not sure whether they allow servers. Will try to find this out later...
I would suggest that you reboot your HDA and check it again. Then if it is working, proceed with turning off the DHCP/DNS server in the router.
If you still do not have connectivity, then there is something else wrong. You still did not state if this was full DVD or Express CD. That makes a difference as the Express CD often does not work the same.
It might require you shutdown your network and bring it back up. Starting with modem, router, then HDA. Once it is all working, then the clients. Could it be that your ISP provider does not allow servers? I have heard that some do not. Also, what type of router are you using?
Last step would be to run the network troubleshooter again and post the results here as an attachment.
