My server has failed. What can I do?

Hey guys,

My Amahi home server has failed after a few months. What happens is the following.

-The computer boots normally
-It loads into a splash screen where I have one option to select the OS. It says Fedora 14 (obviously)
-It then goes into a black screen with a blinking cursor for a few seconds
-Then it says CPU0 has failed. Then another message comes up and says CPU1 has failed.

Is my CPU failing? I doubt it. I know hardware pretty well and if I can boot to my Gigabyte BIOS with said CPU, it's obviously working.

In the splash screen it gives me the option to enter the command prompt and other options.

Is there a command line that could help me backup all my data and reinstall the OS? Any info on what I can do?
I have 6TB in this server, with 1TB taken up. I don't have backups as this server ran fine for months before it failed.

Thanks. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Try booting your machine with a liveCD version of Linux and take a look at your hard drive.

If you can read from the hard drive, I would take a look at /var/log/messages to see if there are any helpful error messages.
