So I have a server running Fedora with Amahi. I have a few questions about what I can exactly do with my setup. Can I access my movies & pictures & such on a "wii" using an application?

Also, Would there be a better way to access my files remotely(out of the network) other then connecting to the network by VPN.

Look into Jinzora http://www.amahi.org/apps/jinzora.

Look into net2ftp http://www.amahi.org/apps/netftp. Accessing your HDA via FTP would be your most sensible option. Unless you want to use Putty and transfer your individual files over SSH. :)

Both are "one-click apps", and have been previously tested by quite a few users. net2ftp is currently in alpha but has pretty decent reviews. From what I've seen so far, alpha releases from Amahi have been better than most company's RC's (Release Candidate).
