I’m a beginner in the Amahi world!

Here is my PC :

1.5 ghz cpu
1.5 gig memory
2 x 500 gig HDD

I have Ubuntu 11.10
I wanted to install Amahi, so I have install VirtualBox
I wanted to install in VirtualBox, Fedora 14 and after Amahi
Problem : Fedora installation stop at "trying to unpack rootfs image as initramfs" (some users said that it’s because not enough memory!), so I cannot install Fedora? And I cannot install Amahi directly in Ubuntu (without some risks). What I can do??

thanks!!!

Nadia

Based on your system specifications, you only option to install Amahi is to use Fedora 14. You do not have sufficient resources in my opinion to run a VM in Ubuntu.

It will. I use Win 7 and Ubuntu to access shares on my HDA with no problems.
