Hi Everyone,

I recently installed Amahi and everything was fine. Then last night I went and tried to setup my backup and noticed all of my shares were limited in size. They all have 1.9 gigs of space available. After some digging around I noticed that the shares are sitting in the root partition of my 1tb drive. So I have a 49 gig root partition and 949gig home partition. What can I do to provide most of the home partition space to my shares? Thanks for all your help.

Yes, unfortunately Fedora 14 does not do a good job of distributing space. I would suggest trying to use gparted to resize the partition. Not sure if it will work, but worth a shot.

Maybe check google for how to resize existing partitions.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is it advised to change the path for the share folder in the Amahi Dashboard? For example in the dashboard I have "Docs" as a share and the path for this folder is /var/hda..., can I change to /home/hda/docs... without causing any issue? I created a new share using the /home/hda and was given the full 894 gigs. The folder was also accessible through finder in OSX. Just curious if this is recommended or not?

Yes you can change the path and it should work fine.
