Several issues after first installation

Hi all

I've got several issues after my first installation.
My setup:
Fedora14, DHCP/DNS disabled, connection to internet is working


1) I'm not able to install any application due to "there are no applications available"
The funny thing is that this problem started just today, yesterday I saw all the applications

2) external dns
everytime my system restarts, the wrong dns server were written in the ifcfg-eth0 file
I've tried to update with hda-change-dns, but it seems, that this is not working.

any Idea whats going wrong here?

Recommend you run the network troubleshooter. Might consider checking the wiki for installation issues as well.
