Using terminal as well as setting up vnp

Hello, complete noob here

I have managed to set up Amahi, and have internet access through the sever. I have turned off DHCP via my router and all is working well.

The problem I have is getting a clear step by step tutorial setting up a headless system using VPN.
If any body has the patients to guide a complete noob through the process of setting up a headless system, from using terminal to actually setting up VPN it would be greatly appreciated. Even being pointed in the right direction would be nice.

I can follow instructions when they are clear but everything I have found so far is quiet the opposite!

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Paul.

VPN is set up by default. You can use a SSH client to access your server via the IP address. I recommend Putty for Windows client.

You can consider it headless if you do not use the desktop and can use SSH to do most command line tasks. Since Amahi is all web based, you should not need to do much with the VPN.

Depends on what you want to do via VPN as to what direction to go.

If it isn't headless now, I'd just go ahead and get everything running, then switch to headless.
