Hi there! complete noob here! but hey we all have to start somewhere :D

I have been trying to install Ahami but when I click on the desktop ahami installer firefox opens but shows a page cannot be displayed error.

Sooo firstly I checked out the forums and found that sinatra was missing, next I followed the instruction to enter this code into a root terminal

Code: Select all

gem --no-rdoc --no-ri --http-proxy http://yourproxyurl/ sinatra service amahi-installer restart
But when I enter this I get an error:-

Code: Select all

ERROR: Invalid option: --no-rdoc. See 'Gem --help'.
Try as I might I cannot see what I am doing for the trees!

Can someone shed me some light please?

What version of Fedora are you using? Also, was it full DVD install?
