Cannot find user for first login:

entering:
http://setup
(redirected to http://hda/user_sessions/new )
login: m
pass: <pass>
<clicked login>
landed on:
http://hda/user_sessions
First admin setup. Please re-create your user password.
user: m <inactive>
Password:<newpass>
Confirm Password:<newpass>
<clicked create>
landed on:
http://hda/user_sessions/new
Error: Incorrect username or password
Login:<empty>
Password:<empty>

This seems similar to the user parsing bug:
http://bugs.amahi.org/issues/show/493

No enough ruby/regexp-foo to verify myself :>

My login: m
user/pass working in GDM/console/ssh login

only difference: installed on Fedora14 by hand
as per http://wiki.amahi.org/index.php/Self-install-existing
(had to set up wired connection in NetworkManager by hand, but that's all - i think.. )

logged in as fedora user m
using firefox on amahi box itself.

am i missing something? or is it a really new aspect of bug 493?

*Edit: added F14 to topic, just to be clear.

Hello,

First of all Fedora 14 for Amahi is in testing. It is not ready for production and there are bugs we need to work out. The official Amahi release is Fedora 12. See the link below for more info:

http://wiki.amahi.org/

You may have already known that, but wanted to make sure. It is best to follow the Fedora 14 page for install if you want to help test. We do not support self-install for any of the Amahi releases at this time. There are too many variables to examine and don't have the resources.

We are a very small team and are overwhelmed with the continued maintenance of Fedora 12 and release development of Fedora 14. Suggest you try installing Fedora 12 via DVD and follow the installation instructions. This is the only officially supported install method/release for Amahi.

I'm aware that it's work in progress - and not easy work :)
Just signalling potential problems.
If there's better place for that post it would be great if it could be moved there.
Thanks.
