Newbie Streaming

Ok I'll stick this question in the newbie thread but if you want to move it feel free. My question is this, I have got a nice successful Amahi installation going eventually, but what i would like it to do is incoroporate a media streamer audio, video or both so that multiple clients on the LAN can watch/listen to a file in sync. A quick google revelas products like icecast and ampjuke, how easy will it be to incoporate this into the amahi frontend?

this should be easily done in the next release if I recall correctly, so please be patient!

we just (rather quietly) released the new app system today.

so, the ability to add apps by you guys is now in place.

i am sure it will break and we will fix it until we stabilize soon. we have a few apps already.

icecast is in fedora already (as an rpm). wonder if some entrepreneurial maintainer wants to take it as an app!
